Valentine's Day Kicks Off Oregon's 150th Birthday (But She Doesn't Look a Day Over 145)

On February 14, Oregon will celebrate its 150 years of statehood, and the day will launch a year-long celebration commemorating this historic occasion. Calling ALL Photographers!

Photographers of all skill levels are invited to participate in the WCVA's photo contest. A total of $3,000 in prize money will be distributed, including a grand prize of $1,000.

The WCVA is seeking images that portray the authenticity of Washington County, Oregon, and to illustrate the picturesque, interesting and unique attractions and areas throughout the county. Images will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.

Images submitted for the contest may be used in the WCVA’s marketing efforts, including, but not limited to brochures, website, visitor guide and other collateral.
