Liberty High School
Liberty High School in Hillsboro recently opened in 2003 and is home to several multi-purpose athletic facilities. A main gym houses one full-size court used for basketball, volleyball, and badminton, capable of seating up to 3,000 spectators in bleachers. A second gym contains a shorter court for additional practice space and games. There are three lighted, turf fields and two non-lighted grass fields used for football, soccer, and lacrosse. An all-weather 8-lane lighted track is situated around the main lighted turf football field with 1,600 covered grandstand seating capacity as well as the capacity for 1,800 visitors. The athletic facilities also include four baseball/softball fields, two of which are regulation size, two fields are lighted while the other two are used for practice and overflow games. A separate room for wrestling and dance is located nearby the main gym.
