Gypsy Dancer Estates is an estate-grown winery located in the heart of the Chehalem Mountain AVA. Gary Andrus has been a life long winemaker committed to producing world-class, hand-crafted wines. After his success with his first wineries, Pine Ridge and Archery Summit, he and his wife Christine purchased Gypsy Dancer Estates in 2002. The winery is named after one of Gary and Christine's daughters Gypsy Gail, Gigi. The winery produces Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris with a small plot of Pinot Blanc coming available in 2009. The narrow spacing vineyard, meter by meter, is one of the most densely planted vineyards in Oregon. This spacing allows for rich and complex characteristics that come through in the wines. The winery is open by appointment only, so please call if you would like to visit.
