An Outdoor Gem: L.L. Stub Stewart State Park

L.L. “Stub” Stewart State Park opened in 2007, and is a 1,654-acre full-service park with hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, for day use or overnight camping at drive-up or hike-in campsites, RV sites or rustic cabins--and the region’s only horse camp. There’s also an interpretive center, and a stretch of the Banks-Vernonia Trail running through the park.
